​Need to be able to see … to read!

Operation Feed has a new  mission. To ensure that the villagers can see or have the glasses needed to make this possible.  With the help of Zack, Charlie, and Laura we are continuing what Tom and Buddy started. Everyone taking English with us has been screened.  Once the crisis is over, we will work to get those needing glasses to  an optometrist .  We provided reading glasses to over 50 people during 2019.  Thanks to everyone who brought us differing strengths.  It helps so many villagers see close-up work, such as crocheting,   carpentry , etc.

In the past, Laura White worked her magic on a friend who provided eye exams and free prescription eyeglasses to 30 plus people. Being able to clearly see makes such a difference for all ages.  She is working on getting another company to come and do the same in 2020.
